Do You Have The Discipline It Takes To Be An Article Writer

Article writing takes discipline. So does marketing your articles. Not everyone is cut out to write and submit articles, but you can learn to be!

At times the hardest part of article marketing for me is to sit down and start writing. I think anyone who writes articles for marketing purposes finds it easy to procrastinate at some time or another.

This is not unlike anything else in your Internet marketing endeavors. If you don’t actually do it on a consistent basis are not going to benefit from it.

It takes discipline to be successful as an article marketer. If you do not actually have a passion for writing, you can still develop the article writing discipline you need to succeed with article writing.

One of the most important parts of having this discipline is to choose a niche that you are interested in. This is why you see so much written about having a passion for the niche you are in, or being an expert at it.

It’s much easier to think about the content for your article if you are somewhat clear on the subject matter. For one thing you don’t have to spend a lot of time researching when you can write from a position of experience or interest.

I like to write numbered list articles. I will think about a theme for my article and then lists three or four primary points. Many times I will actually write the body of the article before I write the title, introduction and closing.

This helps me focus on the purpose of my article and to stay on the theme. It also makes it much easier to write the content when you work from an outline like this.

There is no time limit as you are working for yourself. However, if you write in small chunks sometimes it makes it easier to complete an article if you are not in the mood to write. It also makes it easier to crank out more articles when you are really in the mood to write.

Another key point is to go somewhere where you’re not disturbed when you do your writing. It’s better to be in your home office as opposed to being in the living room as a article writer.

Discipline yourself to sit down and write an article and you will find you can write just about anything in 15 minutes or less. This is true even if you need to do research for your article.

Another part of discipline is to proofread your article. Take a couple minutes and look over a closely for grammar or spelling errors.

Once your article was done it is time to submit it. I personally think using a submission service such as SubmitYourArticle.com is the way to go. However, if you can discipline yourself to manually submit to the top article directories that is okay as well!

3 Ways To Make Money Online With No Money Down

Would it appeal to you to find ways to make money online with no money down? Not only is it possible it is being done every day by ordinary people just like you all around the world.

No money down real estate is one of the reasons our economy is in a mess. People were buying homes that they really could not afford.

This is different. You can find ways to get started making money without having any monetary liability.

When you buy a house with no money down you are still on the hook for a mortgage. When you make money on the Internet with no money down the only thing you are investing is the time it takes to go out and make the money.

So how can you do that?

1. Affiliate marketing. This is the best way to get started without spending any money.

There are millions of affiliate programs you can join and start making money with right away. One good idea is to join an affiliate network which gives you access to multiple ways to make money with affiliate programs.

Examples of affiliate networks that are good to join include ClickBank, Amazon, Commission Junction, and the Google Affiliate Network. All of these are free to join and once you are approved you can start promoting all of the products they have available.

2. Blogging. This is a great way to get into niche marketing. I recommend starting a niche blog and selling affiliate products on it.

Blogger.com is a free blog you can start which is owned by Google. This is a good way to join the Google Adsense affiliate program and get paid when people click on ads.

You can also make money by placing banners from some of the affiliate programs you have joined. When people click on the banner they are taken to your website and you make money when they complete the required action.

To get started think of a theme for your blog that revolves around something you are an expert at or you have a passion for. This will make it much easier for you to start writing some blog articles.

3. Blog writer for other bloggers. There are many ways to make money writing on the Internet, but blog writing is a very popular one right now.

It doesn’t take anything to get started writing blog articles for other bloggers. You can use your blog that you have just started as a sample of your writing ability.

It’s a good idea to join PayPal for free and use it as a payment processor. You can hang out in discussion forums relating to the theme of your blog and find other Internet marketers to write for. Big-Boards.com and The Warrior Forum are 2 good place to go.

These are all ways that I make money personally. I know they work and I know these are great ways to make money with no money down!

Article Writing Tips For Structuring Your Article For The Search Engines

In this article we will go over a few tips on how to lay out your article for the benefit of the search engines. Article marketing is primarily done to generate traffic, but you can very easily receive SEO benefits in your article by doing a handful of things.

Here are six things to keep in mind.

1. Keyword in title. I suggest downloading the free version of Traffic Travis and using it to build a keyword list of 100 to 200 keywords related to the theme of your business.

Just include one differnt keyword phrase in the title and work through your keyword list as you write new articles. This will help give you ideas for the articles as well as let the search engines know what the article is about.

2. Keyword in first paragraph. Put your keyword phrase in the beginning of the first paragraph. You want to use the exact keyword phrase. I generally do not use it again in the body, but I do write variations of it as it sounds naturally.

3. Keep paragraphs short. This has always been a pet peeve of mine. People read articles on the Internet different than they do in a book or a newspaper.

Your paragraphs should be no more than two long sentences or three short sentences. Break up longer sentences by adding appropriate commas in the right place, or adding a period where appropriate and starting a new sentence.

4. Numbered list articles. This is an easy strategy for organizing your article. It also helps the reader read through the body of the article.

You will find that 3 or more points are all it takes to quickly write a 400 word article. You can increase the number of words in your article to 500 words very easily by adding another sentence or two for each point.

5. Keyword in last paragraph. Include your keyword phrase again in the final paragraph. Writing your closing paragraph is easy because you just summarize what you have covered in the body of the article.

6. Resource box tip. You do not need to a long resource box to drive traffic to your website. Include your name, hyperlink your primary keyword, and special offer to get your reader to click on your website link.

You should link to inner pages within your site and hyperlink them to a targeted keyword phrase as well. Most resource boxes let you link to two different webpages. This is how to increase exposuree and make money from your articles.

These are a handful of structuring your article and becoming a better article writer. These are not hard to follow, and with a little bit of practice you will find yourself automatically including these things in each article you write.

Writing Articles-What Makes A Good Resource Box

As an article writer in the body of any article you write you are offering free information. Think of this as giving something to your reader.

In the resource box you now have an opportunity to take something back. Your primary goal is to get the reader to click on the link you provide that leads back to your website.

I used to think that the resource box was really a classified ad. After watching some of the top authors in article directories such as Ezine Articles I realize that is really not the case.

Writing a good resource box does not have to be difficult. You really only need to concentrate on a handful of of things.

1. Your name. Some people write articles for branding purposes. Of course your name will be at the top of the article in the article directory, but most people do not really look at that.

When they read an article they look at the title and then skim immediately to the body. As they read down through the articles they are going to land on your resource box and you want your name to be right at the beginning where they can see it.

2. Shorter is better. A well written resource box does not have to include a large number of words. I have found it amazing that the best resource boxes are short and to the point.

Think about what you have to offer that would make a person want to click on the link in the resource box. You should be offering something unique, oor something that would make a person want to learn more about you or your products.

3. Hyperlink your primary keyword phrase and a special offer. Building up keyword relevancy is one of the primary benefits of article marketing.

In most article directories you can hyperlink 2 keyword phrases in your resource box. If you want to rank highly for a specific keyword phrase by the search engines you need to hyperlink it in as many different ways as possible.

So always a link to your primary website or web page that it is optimized for. Take your second link and link to an inner page on your site or to a splash page or landing page.

I personally like to build my list on either my primary website or splash page. I think that is one of the main benefits of article marketing so I like to link to a page where people can find a sign up form very easily.

Become an Internet spy and take a look at what some of the other top authors are doing. You never want to copy them exactly, but you can write a better resource box when you see what some of the top article marketers are doing it.

One of the first things you will learn is the skill of writing from your readers point of view. When you do this you are going to use a very simple article writing template.

The easiest way to do this is to create a good title with a keyword phrase in it. Then repeat that keyword phrase in the opening paragraph in closing paragraph.

The body of the article can contain just a few main points. You goal is to write articles that are 400-500 words so you will need three to four primary points you’re trying to accomplish in your article.

Go to article directories such as Ezine Articles and Idea Marketers and look at some of the titles other writers are using. This is a good way to come up with titles of your own.

Link back to your website in the resource box of every article you submit. If you write enough quality articles your reader will naturally click on this link and end up on your website.

Obviously your goal is to get as many articles on the Internet as you possibly can. You really only need to submit these to a handful of the top article directories. Just Google search the words “top article directories” and you will find websites that rank these according to traffic.

The more people you have viewing your articles the more traffic you will get to your website. Represent affiliate products that allow you to earn a good commission every time you make a sale. You can also implement Google Adsense ads into your website or blog and get paid when people click on the ads.

Whether you are a ghostwriter or an ebusiness owner, it is important that you know how to increase the number of your articles.

For ghostwriters, it would mean fatter paychecks.

For marketers, it would mean more traffic to their website, a stronger online presence, and increased sales and revenue.

Here’s how you can multiply your article writing and article marketing:

1. Carefully choose your topics. Go with subjects that you know very well or very passionate about. You probably already have ideas on what you coan write about.

These topics will not require you to perform extensive research which will surely eat a lot of your writing time. Just make sure that your topics are interesting to your potential audience so you can still generate the kind of attention you need online.

2. Fight writer’s block. As this can surely affect your productivity, you must avoid it at all cost. I recommend that you don’t overwork yourself so you will not feel so burned out at the end of the day.

Have at least 2 days off every week that you can spend away from your computer. It would also help if you can constantly jot down your great ideas so it will become much easier for you to recall them when you are ready to write your articles.

3. Get comfortable. Several studies prove that writers can be more productive and they can produce quality written materials if they are very comfortable with their writing environment.

Find that place where you can write effectively and where your creative juices will flow smoothly. It could be by the beach, at your local park, in your bedroom, or at your local library where you can have some peace and quiet.

4. Extend your writing hours. This is one of the most obvious ways to multiply the number of your articles.

You may spend at least 2 hours more in front of your computer so you can write additional 2-3 articles per day. Remember to get some 30-minute breaks every after a couple of hours so you will not sacrifice the quality of your content.

5. Produce short articles. You need not to share everything you know in one article. Aside from the fact that you are serving people with limited attention span, you can also be more productive if you can produce 300-500 word articles as these are much easier and quicker to produce compare to the lengthy ones.

These are 5 article writing money making tips to write more articles and earn more money. When you write about good topics, are more productive, and enjoy your writing, you will want to wrok more and write more articles.

Great Article Writing Tutorial Helps You Build Traffic And Promote Your Site

Filed under: Writing Articles — Tags: — Making Money @ 1:34 am August 28, 2010

In this article writing tutorial, I’ll provide you 3 quick tips for how to formulate an effective article that will give you an excellent chance for ranking within the top couple of pages over at Google. Ranking highly in Google is one of the best ways to generate free traffic to your website for years to come.

One of the first things you must focus on when using the article marketing technique is a quality keyword research tool. Everything within this strategy hinges on your ability to identify and then use specific keywords that have a good amount of people searching for them each month.

However, if you pick a keyword that has a high monthly search volume along with a massive amount of competition (meaning too many sites have already optimized their articles for that keyword), then your chances for ranking high at Google plummet. You must be able to determine that “sweet spot” of high enough search volume/low enough competition.

Using the correct tools is the only way to determine this “sweet spot”.

After you’ve determined the keyword you’ll focus on, make sure you come up with a quality title for your article. Instead of saying something ineffective like: “A Nice Article Writing Tutorial”…use something such as “This Article Writing Tutorial Will Teach You Exactly How To Start Writing Traffic Generating Articles That Pre-Sell Your Customers & Translate Into Sales”.

Target those folks who want to understand more about what you’re article is about and be conscious of the results they’re looking for. Then, focus your title on helping them understand that your article will help them achieve exactly what they hope to accomplish in their business.

Before you write your article, be sure to invest a little bit of time in developing an outline. This doesn’t need to be anything fancy. Most article directories are looking for an article of between 300-700 words. If you outline 3-5 ideas, you’ll have plenty of content for an effective online article.

Try this: think about your topic and then go through the alphabet, listing out an idea that fits in with your topic for each letter.

If you’re writing about how to make money in the Global Information Network, you might brainstorm like this:

* Ask for referrals
* Business skills
* California training
* Direct Sales
* How to Grow in this Economy
* Free business training info

Find yourself three to five good topics to focus your article around by going through as many letters as it takes to do so. That’s really all you need to create a quality article. Then, write 2-3 paragraphs around each topic and you’re done!

That’s really as simple as it is. Of course, to get over any fears you have about writing, it will take you a bit of practice. Many people feel that they just can’t write or don’t have enough grammatical knowledge. Let me tell you something…online article writing has nothing to do with what you learned in English class in school. Just write as you would talk…in a conversational manner and you’ll be fine.

List down all the major points that you need to discuss and expand them by inserting supporting details or information.

4. Break the project into workable chunks. The thought of writing a 30-page ebook can be overwhelming for some.

You can make it a lot easier by writing one section at a time. You can write 5 pages or one chapter per day and in just a couple of days, you’ll be able to complete your draft without breaking a sweat.

5. Proofread your draft. After writing your book content, I’d say sleep on it. This will allow you to forget what you have written about.

7 Persuasive Steps To Better Ebook Writing

Writing cannot be more profitable these days. Today, anyone who has great writing skills and desire to share knowledge to online users, can write and sell ebooks to generate substantial profit.

Here is how you can explode your ebook writing and make money online:

1. Choose topics that interest you. When you write something that you enjoy, writing an ebook will become much easier for you.

You will know ahead of time what information to include and where to find relevant resources. As a result, you’ll be able to provide your readers with the kind of information they need, making your ebooks look more enticing and valuable to their eyes.

2. Make it more personal. Write your content the same way you would talk to a friend or family member. Be amiable, warm, spontaneous, and upbeat all throughout.

Ask questions and insert appropriate humor whenever you see fit. Don’t forget to offer recommendations that you think will help your readers improve the quality of their lives.

3. Create an outline. Avoid making your content sound like a presentation of random thoughts.

To ensure that your content will flow smoothly, consider creating an outline that contains all the major points that you would like to include in your ebooks arranged in a logical manner, based on their relevance to your main topic.

4. Set your own deadline. Although you can work at your own pace, you will be more productive if you set realistic deadline for your ebooks.
Just make sure that you don’t rush them so you will not compromise their quality. If you can write 5 pages per day, set a 10-day deadline for a 50 page ebook.

5. Proofread. Ensure that you check your content before you publish your ebooks. Eliminate any types of errors and if needed, improve the overall flow of your content.

If you think that you are not the best person to do this task (sometimes personal biases can really get in the way), you may opt to hire a professional editor to do the legwork for you.

6. Make use of amazing titles. You will need to capture the attention of online users so you can boost your book sales.

Remember, no matter how great and how informative your ebooks are, they will remain unread unless you use great titles that can get people to notice.

7. Invest on your book covers. Consider hiring professional graphic designer who can take good care of your book covers.

A couple of dollars will surely not hurt your pockets. Remember, a professional cover will boost your sales and revenue.

Internet Article Writing – 5 Responsive Steps To Increase Your Internet Writing

A lot of people love to write. They spend so much time filling their diaries with words and they write short stories during their spare time.

However, not all of them are very confident and they don’t feel that they are effective writers. So, they keep their skills to themselves instead of monetizing it. Are you one of them?

If you have way with words, I urge you to try article writing and selling products online. This will not only let you showcase your talent but it will also allow you to earn heaps of money over the internet.

Don’t worry the whole process can be relatively easy, especially if you follow these latest 5 responsive steps:

1. Define your audience. You always have to remember that any kind of writing is a form of communication and before you can effectively communicate with your readers. You need to have at least a bit of information about them.

Take the time to know the people who will most likely to read your content. Are you writing for men, women, or both?

What are their needs, demands, and preferences? What is their age, social status, economic background, and first language?

What are the primary elements that put them in a position of needing your expertise? The more in tune you get with your potential clients, the more effective your writing will be.

2. Do some brainstorming. If you want your articles to sound highly organized, you must take time to outline the information that you would like to include in your content.

It’s better to know ahead of time what you would like to say so you can gauge if your content will stick together. I recommend that you write your outline first before you start writing your articles.

3. Keep yourself motivated. Every writer will surely come to a point where they find themselves stuck in the writing process. Yes, they can’t simply go on and their creative juices are simply not flowing.

If you experience this, make sure that you find inspiration that can get you going. Take a break from writing, watch a movie or two or spend time with your friends and family. Don’t overwork yourself as this can lead to writer’s block.

4. Do your research. It’s not a bad idea to obtain more information from relevant resources even if you know your topics inside and out.

This can strengthen the points that you would like to emphasize as you can always back them up with reputable resources. Consider checking Google News, relevant RSS feeds, Yahoo! Answers, Wikipedia, and other informative websites before you write your content.

5. Implement article marketing into the mix. Submit your articles to online directories so you can make money online from them

Follow these 5 steps to increase your Internet article writing. You will find it gets easier as you gain experience.
