Are you thinking of quitting your day job? Do you wish that you can get an online job that will offer you with passive income?

Would you like to have direct control over your working hours and not have a boss that will tell you what to do?

Then, you better have great writing skills so you can make money online by just writing and selling ebooks.

Here’s how you can jumpstart your ebook writing:

1. Research your niche. Before you tap on your key board, you need to determine the gaps within your chosen niche. What kind of information are being looked for by your potential clients?

This is the first step that you need to take in order to ensure that you’ll be able to produce ebooks that people will actually want to buy. It’s also a great idea to analyze the competitiveness of your topics as this can greatly affect your book sales.

2. Attract your readers through your book titles. Effective titles can bring a lot of difference especially on your book sales. So, ensure that they are attention-grabbing and benefit-driven. They must also be well-written and keyword-rich so your ebooks will fare well on relevant searches.

3. Create an outline. This is one of the most important elements of ebook writing. You see, a lot of people get stuck in the writing process and they spend so much time reorganizing their thoughts. You don’t need to be one of them.

To make sure that your writing will be well-guided and that your content will sound highly organized, spend some time conceptualizing an outline before you start writing your content. List down all the major points that you need to discuss and expand them by inserting supporting details or information.

4. Break the project into workable chunks. The thought of writing a 30-page ebook can be overwhelming for some.

You can make it a lot easier by writing one section at a time. You can write 5 pages or one chapter per day and in just a couple of days, you’ll be able to complete your draft without breaking a sweat.

5. Proofread your draft. After writing your book content, I’d say sleep on it. This will allow you to forget what you have written about.

Then, read and proofread your content. Eliminate errors that you have inadvertedly committed and strive to improve the flow of your ideas so you can give your clients great reading experience.

6. Sell you ebook on ClickBank. They are the largest digital affiliate program on the Internet. Plus you will get access to thousands of affiliates to help you sell it. CB is a great way to make money with affiliate marketing.

These are 5 ways you can kick start your ebook writing into high gear.
